Production Diary
26/06/17: Put into our group Jordan Carter, Amara
Blake and Charlotte Revell and chose our song which is Troublemaker by Olly
Murs.
27/06/17: We chose to do the first 40 seconds. Amara
did the screen grabs of the shots we needed to do, this is our storyboard. Jordan started to learn the words for the lip
syncing and also learned how to create a split screen on premier as we would
need this in one of the shots. Charlotte started to write the production diary
and downloaded the video of Troublemaker.
28/06/17: Today Amara and Charlotte went to take
photos of possible locations, when looking at the music video the most suitable
locations where the Diner, a street outside and the library. Jordan found menus
to use as props whilst Amara put the location shots on a power point and
Charlotte updated the production diary. In this lesson we also discussed what
props and costumes we would need.
29/06/17: Today we began filming our first set of
shots, these were in the street. Charlotte filmed whilst Amara and Jordan acted
out the scenes. We completed all of the shots walking down the street and the
one shot in the library.
30/06/2017: Today we finished filming the remaining
shots, we did this in the diner. Charlotte filmed the shots whilst Jordan and
Amara acted them out.
03/07/17: Amara and Jordan began editing today, we
started by choosing the correct shots and then putting them in order.
04/07/17: The next lesson Jordan continued to edit
and Amara worked on the production diary. Jordan and Amara also went out and
filmed some extra shots that were missing. Amara filmed and Jordan acted out
the two shots.
06/07/17: To
finally finish our prelim task today we completed the editing process of our
music video as well as completing and updating any outstanding blogger task and
research.
This is fine, although your real production diary will need to be more detailed.
